My Promise

My promise to you as your Celebrant

I promise, should you choose to engage me as your Celebrant, to help support and guide you through your day, as intended.

I will be there with you, as much as I am able, prior to your day; be that in person, by phone or using the internet to communicate.

I will write create, deliver and conduct, exclusive and authentic scripts designed expressly with you in mind.

The content of the service will be thought about and created together so that you have the service you want, at the time and in the place where you want it. We can include people, pets, poems, props, prose, lyrics, or readings and music. All are welcome should you wish.

I am deeply spiritual. My foundations are with the Bible.  I find strength in its teachings.

I am funny and will find humour if appropriate.

Being a Shaman I try to live holistically and sustainably, Symbolism is something I work with instinctively. These elements will reflect not only the nature of the service being held but also the people for whom the service is intended.

It will be my pleasure to craft the service you require so that the magic of those moments remain in your hearts and memories forever.

Your confidentiality is hugely important to me and I will share nothing of our experience without your express permission.

It is with every intention that the day you wish for, will be created to be enjoyed.

Ceremony or Celebration

What might this look like?

Creating a Celebration of Ceremony may include almost anything you wishfor..

Depending on the nature of the service some ideas might include:-

Words from the Family by way of tributes. These may be delivered in the form of speeches, readings, prayers, stories, or a eulogy.

There could be music, songs, hymns, chanting, or... Silence.

I often sense symbolism, using an altar table, perhaps with a representation of the person, such as a photograph or “favourite”something else.

Movement using bubbles, candles, bells, drums or other instruments can invite change.

Animals may also have a part.

Planting new life, a tree or flowers or to bring minerals or rocks to the sacred space all help to personalise the service .

The release of balloons, sky lanterns or doves are not something I will consider.

Animal welfare, during and after, any ceremony is always a consideration
